We can't believe our little man is 15 months!
Asher's 15 month stats:
26 lbs - 75th %tile
31 1/2 inches - 75th %tile (he really sprouted the past 3 months!)
His head is a different measurement depending upon who measures it.
This has become the check up joke. One nurse always measures it huge. Like 140th %tile+.
The doctor always remeasures it and its 60th %tile. Whatever.
Dr. Matt examining Asher.

Nurse Lori (our favorite) measuring the big boy!

Measuring his head for the FIRST time...

Almost time for the big boy scale!

This month Asher has started walking with minimal assistance!
He took 5 steps on Thursday and is getting braver by the day. We suspect we will have a walker in the next week or two. We are so proud of this accomplishment. We have all worked very hard to develop this skill and he could not be more excited for it to click in his head and feet!
Asher's PT is still coming every Friday and will do so until he is running. As first time parents this has been so helpful for all of us. We all truly love his PT, Tammy and the County Services Coordinator Kesha. He always makes huge progress after each week's therapy.

Now its my turn to take over.

I told you I knew what I was doing!

Crash...good thing no one was in there!

I used to fit inside this basket very nicely...

HELP....!!!

That is what I'm talking about...
15 month old's shouldn't be sitting in baskets!

Fun Asher facts:
Asher is extremely independent and came play by himself forever.
We can now play peek a boo with our hands and not just curtain!
Opening cabinets and discovering what is inside is a favorite around our house.
He is BUSY. Constantly on the go.
He is an extremely fast crawler.
When he is serious and mischievous he displays an underbite.
He knows when he is the center of attention and loves to be a ham.
He scrunches his nose when he smiles big. He laughs when we laugh.
He is learning to pat pat Bella and she is tolerating it a little better. But just a little.
We started introducing the potty at bath time thanks to several friends recommendations and so far he has only peed in the potty twice, but hey its twice. By all means we are NOT trying to potty train yet. Funny note: The first time he went while sitting on the potty it shot out on my foot. Oh the joys of boys!
He can now sign "more, all done and tree".
Yeah tree is kind of random but he does it.
He can say way more than he can sign. He is extremely verbal.
Still sleeping like a champ and eating like a champ.
He eats anything.
He loves music and head bangs/bops to it.
He has 7 teeth which include 1 first year molar. He has about 4 teeth on the way, which makes for a fun time. Teething doesnt phase him much, but enough for us to know he is teething.
Working on transitioning his milk bottles to milk sippy cups. We are struggling on this one.
I guess it might help if I stopped nursing. He can do water in sippy cups but freaks when it comes to milk...even warm milk.
Asher doesnt like anything cold except water. Ice Cream, yogurt, milk. Cold, no thanks.
I'm sure I have repeated myself in prior blogs. But then again, its all about keeping a record.
As I sit here and type my child is shaking different bottles of vitamins like maracas. I guess I better get off the computer.
Have I mentioned I swear I'm going to be a mother of 3 boys. My gut tells me so.
