We just celebrated the Jewish Holiday Purim!
Asher dressed up as the King...
I had a blast making his costume from scratch and jeweling his crown!
Mr Twister the Balloon man always comes and makes cute creations for the kids!

We call this the sleazy king.... the neckline was a little too large.
So much for my non-pattern making sewing skills. Ops.

It sure didnt effect his cuteness factor!

Nana and Poppy joined us for the celebration. Softa was also there, but she was busy coordinating the Purim Family Dinner at Temple!

We did lots of singing to Rabbi Micha's guitar!

and parading around the social hall and into the family dinner in our costumes!

Asher and Amanda also made Hamantaschen again this year....but we ate them before we could snap a photo. Yummmy!
Chag Sameach!

What a cute King!
ReplyDeleteAt church, we have been studying the book of Esther and I have been so amazed to see the Hand and Providence of God in rescuing the Jewish people from evil Haman. I can definitely see why Purim is such a special celebration and remembrance! Esther is an amazing and brave woman! So neat!
what a cutie pie! love it!
