We experienced our first snow/ice storm this past weekend since Asher's birth and we didn't miss the opportunity to expose Asher to the falling sleet, snow etc.
We bundled him up.
Layer 1 - Footed pjs
Layer 2 - Wind pants and a hooded sweatshirt
Layer 3 - Line rain coat with mitten & knitted booties.
It is clear that we are not snow people nor do we prepare with snowsuits.
Snow in Charlotte is quite a rarity.
I did however wear my rain boots which kept my feet dry and warm!
We lasted all but 5 minutes - enough time for us to snap a few cute photos of his first snow.
He tipped his head back and opened his mouth to catch the flakes dropping
When we came inside we warmed up with some good ole fashioned family play time.
The perfect family fun day!
