Us. 3. You + Me = He.

I can't even begin to tell you how challenging it was to get a photo of the three of us that was remotely decent and one that we were semi smiling.
It was VERY windy...and cold.
You would think by our outfits it was warm...but indeed it was not.
My toes were FREEZING.
Amanda had to wake Asher from his marathon nap to meet up with us.
He despises being woken up.
He was a grump!
However, we cherish this photo and our family of 3.

A World of a Difference
I received this email from my boss today:
I wanted you to know that I am very proud about the advances that you make every day and the way that you handle yourself professionally. I can see many good things happening within your responsibility and I would ask that you keep it up because I think it will pay off in a positive way! Thank you for your hard work and clear direction you provide.
Nice job!!!!!
----------------
What a world of a difference from one year ago, where I had not received a compliment of this nature or thank you EVER in my 3 years of employment.
Although I am traveling A LOT. I am still thoroughly loving and enjoying every day at my job. It is amazing to feel needed, wanted and respected by my employer.
Another awesome part of my job is that anytime I am traveling for work... I am working. As in ON THE CLOCK! Even if that means taking the red eye home and working an 18 hour day. All of those hours accumulate and I can either get paid on them in that pay period, a later pay period or bank them to use as flex time at a later point. How awesome is that?
Since I started I have been to:
Raleigh, Nashville, Knoxville, Richmond, Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, Columbia, SC, Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Jacksonville, Denver, and California x2...with plans of 2 California trips in the next 2 months
Got to love the USAIRWAYS miles :)

Five Year Anniversary!
Wednesday, March 30, 2011
Tuesday, March 29, 2011
I am 30
I took ZERO photos to document the event.
Its not that I didnt want to document it...it just wasnt significant!
We went to the gym.
Met my family for brunch at IHOP....although not the classiest place, it was delicious.
Sold some things on craigslist because we are cleaning out all the closets and selling all of our guest bedroom stuff to prepare the decorating process of Asher's big boy bedroom.
Took a nap.
Ate dinner with my inlaws
Went grocery shopping at 9 pm at night for Super Doubles...
where I spent $80 and saved $120.
Now that is what I am calling a birthday present :)
We have a trip coming up to NYC with two other couples where we will celebrate my birthday, our 5 year wedding anniversary and live it up like we did before kids.
On a side note...I keep finding gray hairs popping up all over my head. Ekkk.
That I do not welcome with age!
I am 30. Yippe!

Chag Sameach!
We just celebrated the Jewish Holiday Purim!
Asher dressed up as the King...
I had a blast making his costume from scratch and jeweling his crown!
Mr Twister the Balloon man always comes and makes cute creations for the kids!

We call this the sleazy king.... the neckline was a little too large.
So much for my non-pattern making sewing skills. Ops.

It sure didnt effect his cuteness factor!

Nana and Poppy joined us for the celebration. Softa was also there, but she was busy coordinating the Purim Family Dinner at Temple!

We did lots of singing to Rabbi Micha's guitar!

and parading around the social hall and into the family dinner in our costumes!

Asher and Amanda also made Hamantaschen again this year....but we ate them before we could snap a photo. Yummmy!
Chag Sameach!

Surprise!
On Saturday, March 12th my mom decided to host a pampered chef party.
I was all ready to buy my deep dish covered baker.
I havent been to a pampered chef party in years.
I was really excited.
My mother in law took me out to lunch and out for manicure/pedicures that day for a girls day. Afterwards we made a few stops to cute stores and then headed off to the party together.
We arrived on time to the pampered chef party...
To find this....
Surprise Happy 30th Birthday to Me!!!!
My mom had dark chocolate tea pot pops for everyone to take home.
They served all my favorites.....greek dip, Zoe's Kitchen sandwiches...etc.

Eliza had this apron made for me and had everyone sign it.

I could not be more thankful for the wonderful birthday surprise that my family put together for me. It could not have been any better!

Thank you sissy for putting your heart and soul into this party and thank you Rich for putting up with her while she planned it all.
I LOVE IT!
love love love it all.
i feel like such a lucky girl to such blessings in my life.
I am excited to be 30th. I dont feel "old" and it doesnt sound old to me.
The best is yet to be!
